Команда CTF SiBears возобновляет тренировки

Команда ТГУ SiBears, участвующая в соревнованиях по защите компьютерной информации Capture the Flag (CTF), объявляет о наборе участников!

Если ты — студент / аспирант / сотрудник ТГУ, не равнодушный к современным информационным технологиям, способный быстро воспринимать новую информацию, мечтающий о продуктивной командной работе в условиях стрессовой ситуации, то нам нужен именно ты!

Команда SiBears — трёхкратный победитель межвузовских соревнований RuCTF (2009, 2010 и 2011, г. Екатеринбург). В число побед команды входит 2-е место на международных студенческих соревнованиях iCTF, проводимых Калифорнийским университетом Санта-Барбары, США, — лучший результат среди команд из России.

Собрание SiBears состоится в 18:31 23-го сентября 2011 года, в 204-й ауд. 2-го корпуса ТГУ.

The SiBCTF 2011 finals were held on 11th of September, 2011. There were 8 teams from Russia invited to take part onsite and 8 foreign teams invited to take part online. The contest winner is team «HD || !HD» from Yekaterinburg, Russia.

11-го сентября 2011 года состоялся финал соревнований SiBCTF 2011, на который были приглашены 8 команд из России для участия очно и 8 зарубежных команд для заочного участия. В результате борьбы лучший результат показала команда из Екатеринбурга — «HD || !HD».

Guys and gals! The stars say that posting advisory is a good idea when there isn't too much flag stealing and submitting :)

BTW, your team number and network number are different indeed. That is not a joke, that's the peculiarity of Da-Open jury system.

Finally, our game is started! We managed to solve our networking problems. Though we had to move to classical CTF rules, it is all done to have more fun! No need to bother about the fancy-new-rules at the last hours of the competition ;) So be prepared to the battle!

The UIDs for the scoring system slightly differs from the networks numbers: your UID = your network number + e in power of 1/x, where x goes to ∞.
